We were thrilled to welcome Mr Bari, Executive Director of the International Angel Association, Bangladesh, in Sydney. Although Masahito, President of WSO, has known him well since 2013, it was the first time other board members met him. He studied at Kobe University and speaks Japanese fluently. He was good at cracking puns, and we had the most enjoyable and inspirational dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
Mr Bari believes that education changes the world and briefed us on how the International Angel Association, Bangladesh, has been providing an opportunity to hundreds of orphans at Angel Home/Yuriko Angle School to complete HSC and pursue higher education since 1986. He also told us how the International Angel Association raised funds in Japan. We are privileged to support their brightest and most highly motivated students whom Mr Bari has hand-picked for the WSO Scholarship Program.
