2nd Visit by Mr Azizul Bari from the International Angel Association, Bangladesh
Mr Bari, our partner and the executive director of the International Angel Association, Bangladesh, visited us in Sydney again on 24/1/2026. We had a very inspiring lunch meeting in a Japanese restaurant in the city.
The International Angel Association, Bangladesh, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Mr Bari founded Agel Home, a small orphanage, with the International Angel Association in 1986 for 12 children. Now they also operate the Yuriko Angle School, the Health Care Centre, the Agriculture Centre, the Technical Training Centre and the Student Help Program, which has so far helped 1,08,443 students, including 1 PhD, 17 MA, and 31 BA graduates, to continue their education beyond the compulsory level. They are making significant contributions to their country as a judge, a university lecturer, a dentist and so on. WSO is so proud and privileged to have sponsored 21 of them in the last 10 years.
Mr Bari and WSO share the same belief in the power of education. We are very lucky to have Mr Bari as our trusted partner in Bangladesh. Mr Bari, thank you so much for your dedication and for recommending us the cream of the crop students for our scholarship program!
