Our Partners

Our Partner NGOs/NPOs

We value our partnership with the local Non-Governmental and Not-For-Profit organizations.

They handpick candidates for our scholarships from among their charges who are well motivated to further their education but are too poor to do so.

They also liaise with their parents who are unwilling to send their children to school because they are afraid of losing the income brought by them.

A local organisation provides scholarships to "children who want to continue their studies but are not allowed to go to school due to family budget", and at the same time, the staff of the local organisation provides explanations to their parents on behalf of them.

The International Angel Association

The International Angel Association was established in 1982 in Hyogo, Japan by Mrs. Yuriko Kawamura and her sympathizers who wished to return the love and support given to her daughter, Naoko who was born with a cerebral palsy, to the more needy people. They established “Angel Home”, an orphanage, in Bangladesh in 1986 and have been providing accommodation and opportunities to study to orphans and children of the poorest families. Many of their former charges are now working as a school teacher and a medical doctor. WSO has been providing scholarships to more than (ten?) students through the Association since 2015.

Greetings from International Angel Association President Mariko Higashimura on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of WSO's establishment on September 9, 2023.

The Japan-Bangladesh Society

We have been providing scholarships to more than five(?) students through the Society since 2017.
